Project Tango is by far the biggest project/ program we have worked on if you look to number of project members. The project, or actually the program, had to goal to merge two Dutch banks, the ING Bank and the former Postbank.
Bjorn fulfilled the role of main Project Controller and Project Support Specialist, responsible for the merge of all call center activities (CALL2RING). In this role, he was directly working alongside with the Program Manager, reporting to ING higher management on planning, budget, progress, and deviations.
This environment has brought Bjorn a lot of knowledge in the area of business change management, as the toughest part of this merger was joining two different company cultures and making them work together in one unified manor. In the past it was all about the technology and Change Management played a secondary role, but in this project, it was all about the change of people, with systems to support them.
